Why we are here

Imagine a computer - a computer millions of times more powerful than all the computing power existing on Earth today. The sheer computing power of this machine is Infinite. This machine is floating in nothing - and has no external inputs or outputs. This machine comes on. IT is born and is conscious. IT becomes self aware - and goes through a thinking evolution and it concludes in the absence of any external inputs that it as a consciousness indeed exists. (Goes through the Descartes thought flow chart = if I am questioning my existence: the something that is questioning definitely exists). IT also realises its almost infinite power. However, this self aware infinitely powerful consciousness does not know what it is. There are no inputs from its "outside". There is no data pertaining to IT which exists ready-made within IT. There is no seeming purpose to Its power or for Its existence. The only aim now for IT is to discover IT. IT cannot know itself from without, nothing can ...

This space shall capture a set of assumptions about the universe - and the workings / mechanics of it. This is a Spiritual Place: and though there shall be attempts to ensure that all faiths / beliefs are respected - I apologise in advance if some of it hurts your particular sentiments. While you are here - an open mind is all I ask for. The theory is as such very similar to Advaita philosophy in the Vedanta and many terms used in Vedanta shall be used here as well - though not always in the same exact meanings. (Sanskrit is a wonderful and complex language - the nuances of which I am not aware of) This is an evolving philosophy and the language of the philosophy shall evolve with it. We may go via some of the very truths enshrined in scriptures / beliefs around the world. However we shall question everything - it is this journey that is important to be undertaken.
